Campus wireless internet access.
October 13th, 2009

UH Information Technology Services (ITS) has been making changes to the UHM wireless network over the last few months and have begun broadcasting a new SSID ‘UHM’ across campus. The new SSID should automatically appear in your list of available networks when you are in close proximity to an ITS access point. Unlike the old ‘uh’ SSID, you will not need to configure your laptop or mobile device to connect. You only need to launch a browser and enter your UH username and password.

October 12, the old SSID ‘uh’ was retired and you will no longer be able to use it to connect to the wireless network. If you have any difficulty connecting to the new ‘UHM’ SSID please submit a tech support request online or contact TDP Tech Support at 956-3635 or coetech@hawaii.edu.

More information can be found at: http://www.hawaii.edu/its/homepage/news.php?newsId=58.
